  • o Madison has worked with a variety of people in a variety of experiences. Madison has cultivated these skills in numerous environments and possesses the ability to effectively communicate, instruct, and inform in diverse circumstances.

  • o Throughout her schooling, Madison has strengthened her multimedia skills, including video production, creating graphics and charts, and developing visually appealing infographics for social media or newsletters.
• Strategic Communication
  • o Madison is exceptionally skilled at effectively communicating a variety of information. This includes crisis communication, press releases, and internal communications.
• Written Communication
• o Effective communication is especially relevant when in writing. Madison has proficient written communication, whether editing report, participating in email correspondence or crafting social media posts

Throughout her career, Madison has had numerous opportunities to cultivate her skills. Five years ago, Madison primarily worked in public facing jobs, working in a sales-like environment. Since then, Madison had a large career shift, entering the public sector and developing an entirely new set of skills, while refining her existing abilities. Throughout dispatching, Madison enhanced her ability to multi-task while operating under extreme pressure. Throughout her three years of dispatching, Madison was a valued employee and was appointed as a trainer and underwent the training required to do so effectively and up to department standard.

Following her time dispatching, Madison transitioned to an office role at a new department which required her to further grow her skillset. In this new environment, and during her internship, Madison became adept in email communications with coworkers and external departments alike. Additionally, Madison exercised her proofreading skills while building her understanding of legal compliance, as it related to releasing legal records. Throughout her internship, Madison continued improving her verbal communication and is exceptionally skilled at communicating good and bad news alike. Madison is excited to continue developing her skills and careers in the future.

Madison is dedicated to continuing her career in communications where she can effectively interact with internal and external entities alike. Through this communication, she will exercise her creative problem solving, her professionalism, and her written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise messaging. Her schooling as helped build her research skills, social media proficiency and her public speaking and presentation skills. Her professional and internship experience has given her real world experience and taught her the importance of accuracy, prompt responses, and thoroughness. She is ready to perform these skills in a professional atmosphere and work on streamlining communication, connecting people, and building relationships.
